Bawkwards™ Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Bawkwards™ is a pass-the-phone reverse audio party game operated by Orchard Designs, LLC dba Soundzy™. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact support@soundzy.app.

2. Information you provide

• Custom phrases or text that you enter
• Player names or nicknames used in rounds
• Optional profile or avatar images, if you choose to add them
• Messages you send to support
• Audio recordings only if you choose to send them to us, such as by emailing a support request for review.

3. Information collected automatically

We MAY collect limited technical and usage information automatically, such as device type, app version, operating system, language, crash data, and analytics events that help us understand how people use Bawkwards and improve the product.

We DO NOT automatically store or collect recordings, avatar photos, or personal information unless you deliberately send it to us, such as for help and support.

4. How we use information

• Run gameplay features such as recording, reverse playback, judging, and recap creation
• Improve app performance, quality, and reliability
• Understand how users move through the product and which features are most useful
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
• Protect the app, our users, and our services

5. AI judging and audio processing

Bawkwards must process recorded audio on your device to power features such as reverse playback, waveform-style comparison, judging, and recap generation. If you use "AI judging," the app may analyze audio similarity to help determine which player matched the target most closely. The "AI judging" is processed locally on your device.

We do not collect or receive your gameplay recordings just because you use the app. We only receive recordings if you deliberately send them to us, such as by emailing support and attaching audio, video, or screenshots for troubleshooting or review.

6. Analytics and service providers

We may use analytics and infrastructure providers to help us understand usage, improve performance, and support the operation of Bawkwards. For example, we may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Installations to measure app usage, understand performance, support diagnostics, and improve reliability. This information is not used to track you across apps or websites.

7. Sharing

Bawkwards is designed to let you share recap content if you choose to do so. When you share a recap or other content through Messages or another app, that content is shared with the recipients and services you select, not automatically collected by us.

8. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law, needed for security, or necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

9. Children

Bawkwards is a general audience app and is not part of the Apple Kids Category. If you believe a child provided personal information in a way that should not have happened, contact support@soundzy.app.

10. Your choices

• You can control microphone, photo, and other device permissions in iPhone Settings.
• You can choose whether to use AI judging or manual judging when available.
• You can contact us to ask questions about your data or this policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
